Project Description

Taylors Hill Village is a Neighbourhood Shopping Centre anchored by a Coles Supermarket, 15 specialty shops and a Shell Coles Express fuel station and KFC food pad site.

This iconic development was a shortlisted finalist in the Shopping Centre category for the Property Council Awards.


Taylors Hill is a suburb located 28 km north west of Melbourne CBD.

The Vision

The design vision was to develop a Centre that was iconic in form and provided a high level of tailored conveniences that were attuned to the needs of the local community.

The curved entry canopy statement is prominent and a key feature of the centre and for the local Taylors Hill community. Customers frequenting the Centre benefit from a simple yet effective retail layout that is located on a prominent corner site, with convenient car park layout and vehicular access.

The Finished Project

The finished development comprises a total gross lettable area of 7,431 sqm serviced by 330 at grade car parks.

The land was purchased from a residential developer and was developed on a fast track timetable that required obtaining revised planning consent from the local council and completing construction works within a 9-month period from commencement to centre launch.
